Born in London, Lisa Reece-Lane moved with her family to Australia and eventually settled in Melbourne. She had a love of music from an early age and studied bassoon at the Victorian College of the Arts and later at Sweelink Conservatoire in Amsterdam. She went on to play with various orchestras and ensembles, here and overseas, including the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and State Orchestra of Victoria.

Lisa loves reading and writing about people who struggle to find their place in the world. She has no interest in alpha males or flawless heroines. Her mission is to write stories that elevate the fictional lives of misfits and outcasts. She also writes regular blog posts that aim to uplift anyone who thinks they don’t belong.

Milk Fever her first novel, can be found here.
